HOMEWORK:
1.) Turn your edited rough draft into a final copy.  Make sure your parents edit/revise your paragraph WITH you (see link in "Parent Resource" section).  Make sure you have your rough copy with edits because I will be collecting them.

2.) Word work due Tuesday!

3.) Extra Credit due by Tuesday 9/30.

WARM-UP:
Please complete this survey on a piece of paper and turn it in to me.
1.) Are you enjoying the independent reading time in school?  Why or why not?  Explain.

2.) What benefits are you getting out of the extra reading we're asking you to do?

3.) Do you talk to people about what you read?  Why or why not?  Explain.

4.) Would you like us (your teachers) to do more with the reading (ie: discussion groups, time to talk rather than assigning projects).
