1.) Mill and Seethe - Show me the characters!
2.) Read more in The Diary of Anne Frank (Period 1 read Act II, scene ii - Act III, scene iii where Mr. Frank says "We don't need the Nazis to destroy us.  We're destroying ourselves.", Period 3 finished the play, Periods 4 and 6 read Act II, scene ii - Act III, scene iii where Margot says "Stop it!  Stop it!" for the second time)

HOMEWORK
Journal (periods 1, 4 and 6) - Respond to Mr. Frank's words:  We don't need the Nazis to destroy us.  We're destroying ourselves."  This response can either be a one page (minimum) written journal or you can fully illustrate your understanding of these lines through a full page illustration with the quote written on it.

Journal (period 3) - Respond to the very end of the play  Anne:  "In spite of everything, I still believe that people are good at heart."  Mr. Frank:  "She puts me to shame."  This response can either be a one page (minimum) written journal or you can fully illustrate your understanding of these lines through a full page illustration with the quote written on it.
