HOMEWORK
PERIODS 1 & 3:
1.) Start working on the storytelling aspect of your culture project (pick a story and start learning it).  Presentations will be next Wednesday and Thursday.
2.) After today's mini lessons on theme and motif, do you need to tweak your topic sentence homework from last night?  If so, please make sure it's done.

PERIODS 4 & 6:
1.) Start working on the storytelling aspect of your culture project (pick a story and start learning it).  Presentations will be next Wednesday and Thursday.
2.) Look at the two prompts in yesterday's blog post.  Read them both and choose the one you want to answer.  Write the best topic sentence you can for the prompt of your choosing on the top of a piece of lined paper and bring it to class for an activity tomorrow.
