HOMEWORK
1.) Weekly word work due on Monday, 11/10/14.
2.) Second draft of author letter due on Monday, 11/10/14
3.) Theme activity must be completed by Wednesday at the latest (picture that represents the theme of the story along with either a few sentences explaining the theme OR a quote from the story that shows the theme)

ABSENT FRIENDS:
If you were absent today, you're going to want to make sure you look at this link for the questions we used during our carousel thinking activity.  They will help to clarify if the story didn't make sense. You are ONLY going to want to look at questions 4, 6, 7, 9, 10 and Analyzing Literature numbers 1 and 2 because those are the ones that we used.
